About Possum Ridge BBQ

Pit Master Rick Plante and his wife, Viola opened Possum Ridge BBQ and Catering in November, 2007. Operating "from the big black trailer" on North Ferdon Boulevard, they provide the finest, generously portioned plates of pork, beef, and chicken barbecue, with all of the fixins' on the side.

Possum Ridge BBQ grew from Rick's participation in barbecue competition. He is a two time winner of the "Triple B" barbecue competition in Okaloosa County, and still competes in barbecue contests on a regional and national basis.
